Friday, 4 November 2016, 09:00 – 17:00
This full-day hands-on workshop will give you the knowledge and experience of adjusting the open source code of Delft3D and compiling it to your own preference.
It is a return of the succesful event of last year.
We will start with downloading the Delft3D code and compiling it to obtain the necessary executables. Then you will learn how to add an additional functionality and use it.
Other topics that will be covered are: Windows versus Linux, running in parallel mode and debugging.
Bring you own laptop if you want
We have several laptops at our disposal, but you are encouraged to bring your own laptop if possible.
Please check the prerequisites for your laptop here: source-code#prerequisites
