DSD-INT Introduction

The Delft Software Days is the platform that brings together the international scientific software community in the area of water, subsurface and infrastructure. This event is a once in a year opportunity to share the latest software developments with so many fellow developers, modellers and users all brought together at 1 location at Deltares. We organize an extensive array of courses and workshops to share our expertise, our software skills and our experiences with you. And to give you the opportunity to share your expertise, software skills and experiences with us and all other community members. The communities that meet at the Delft Software Days are reaching 13,000+ members from all around the world.


The Delft Software Days (DSD-INT 2017) will take place this autumn from Monday, 23 October to Friday, 3 November. For the 7th year now, it offers you a twelve-day program filled with courses, workshops and users meetings, from the central location at Deltares (Boussinesqweg 1, Delft), The Netherlands.

The DSD-INT 2017 will welcome 500+ participants from 200+ organizations from 50+ nationalities. This annual event provides a venue for both users and developers of Delft software products, tools and data & knowledge management systems. It gives an excellent opportunity to present new scientific insights in modelling, recent advances in data & knowledge management and latest open software developments, related to water, subsurface and infrastructure.

The community using Delft open source software is currently 13,000+ members worldwide and is growing rapidly. The DSD-INT 2017 events are held in support of the open source community and are important for fostering relationships with universities, research institutes, governmental organizations and companies.
